Agreement to Terms

RiderCare ("we," "our," or "us") is operated by a small two-person team. By accessing or using RiderCare, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you disagree, do not use our service.

Description of Service

RiderCare is a motorcycle maintenance tracking service that helps you manage your bikes, track maintenance schedules, and receive reminders. We offer both free and premium subscription plans.

Account Registration

• You must be at least 18 years old to use our service
• You must provide accurate and complete information
• You are responsible for maintaining account security
• You are responsible for all activity under your account
• You must notify us immediately of unauthorized access

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the service for any illegal purpose
• Violate any laws or regulations
• Infringe on intellectual property rights
• Transmit malicious code or viruses
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
• Interfere with or disrupt the service
• Create multiple accounts to circumvent subscription limits
• Resell or redistribute the service without permission

Subscriptions and Payments

Premium Plans

Premium subscriptions are billed monthly. Payment is processed through Stripe. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled.

Free Trial

We may offer free trials. If you don't cancel before the trial ends, you will be charged for the subscription.

Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. No refunds for partial periods.

Refunds

Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. Contact us at orion@rider-care.app for refund requests.

Intellectual Property

RiderCare and its content are owned by us and protected by copyright and trademark laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without permission.

You retain ownership of data you upload. By using our service, you grant us a license to use, store, and process your data to provide the service.

Disclaimer of Warranties

Our service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. As a small team, we cannot guarantee:

• Uninterrupted or error-free service
• Absolute security of your data
• Accuracy of maintenance recommendations
• Compatibility with all devices or browsers

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for:

• Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• Loss of data or profits
• Damages resulting from service interruptions
• Damages resulting from reliance on maintenance recommendations
• Any damages exceeding the amount you paid us in the past 12 months

Important: RiderCare is a maintenance tracking tool, not a substitute for professional mechanical advice. Always consult qualified mechanics for motorcycle maintenance and repairs.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the service, violation of these terms, or infringement of any rights.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us or deleting your account in settings.

Upon termination, your access to the service will cease. We may delete your data after a reasonable period, though backup copies may remain.

Changes to Terms

We may modify these terms at any time. We will notify you of significant changes. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. If you disagree, you must stop using the service.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by applicable local laws. Any disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration or in courts of competent jurisdiction.
